If you loved reading and seeing the photos of Part 1 of the wedding of Nicholas and Carol, you would definitely love to see Part 2 of their wedding at Flutes at National Museum! Big smiles all around, including during the tea ceremony, and it was simply just a great wedding to be at.
For the guests’ wedding favour, they had the privilege of choosing between two tea flavours, Rose and/or Irish Spring, which they could scoop as much as they wanted in a DIY tea bar. Great idea to just let your guests pick and choose which flavour they like!

Absolute Magic
Alvin & Michelle were recommended to me by a friend, who is also a photographer. His wedding was captured by Alvin & Michelle, and looking at the photos taken, I was really taken by the length at which they took to capture the most memorable moments of the day.
From the very first time we met Alvin & Michelle, we experienced their warmth and genuine passion for capturing weddings. They shared with us the reasons why they got into wedding photography and the industry per se, and that gave us a sense of encouragement in the knowing that they wanted the best for us. So off we went, signing up with the very first and only photographers we met.
From the start, I was very clear with I wanted. I was looking for a photographer that was different and stood out amongst the plethora of other wedding photographers that were out there in the field. I believe that still images can capture something that videos cannot, and in that respect, photographers are artists and movie-makers in every sense of the word; from the way they frame a shot to the creation of an everlasting mental motion reel of the day. Suffice to say, that was exactly what they did; and a great job, they did.
From their wealth of experience in capturing weddings, they were able to give us advice from the planning stage, all the way up helping us to manage the crowd and sequence of photos that needed to be taken. They were meticulous in taking time to understand the entire flow of the wedding such that they were able to capture the moments that were easy to be missed in the blink of an eye.
The amazing part of having Alvin and Michelle as our photographers is that both of them specialise in their own area of shooting macros and that of expressions and people. The photo-editing was excellent as well; all of our photos, including a slideshow of which they made for us, were perfectly retouched.
Alvin and Michelle have become friends and we take pride in being one of their couples. It was an absolute privilege that we had them in lending a hand in the journey to our wedding day. A few months down the road when we held a second instalment of our wedding in Taiwan (which is where my wife is from), even the photographers we worked with then, expressed their admiration and endorsement of Alvin and Michelle’s work.
If I were to look back and wonder why we chose Alvin and Michelle to be our photographer – just what was that X-factor that just somehow won us over so easily – I think it would simply be that you have two amazing artists working to help you and your spouse to create something amazing, and their effort shows in every single one of their works. They invest tremendous amounts of passion into their work, and through that love for what they do, they are able to understand weddings. They know just exactly what to look out for, making every shot special and memorable.
Thanks so much guys, for the memories and friendship!
