After the very successful wedding proposal that we shot when Matthew proposed to Amelia, we were excited when they wanted to engage us again for their pre-wedding! We would have loved to shoot their wedding too, but their wedding was held in the same month (Jul 2018) as the time when I was due to give birth to our second daughter. So we agreed that we could only shoot their pre-wedding. At 30 weeks pregnant (in May 2018), I was all ready for the 3rd last shoot before delivery! There were two more shoots after this, and I went all the way till 33 weeks before stopping all shoots and getting ready all the photo edits before delivery. Everything was fairly smooth, and now our baby Carissa is already 7 months old. How time flies!
Back to this lovely pre-wedding shoot for Matthew and Amelia, they decided to have it at two locations – Botanic Gardens and National Museum. We usually try to keep to just one location to minimize travelling time, but we were happy to shoot at the two locations that they wanted. At Botanic Gardens, we were blessed with absolutely the bluest sky we have seen in Singapore in a while. It was so gorgeous, and reminded us of our holidays in Australia where you simply can’t take one bad photo. 😀 One very unique request that Matthew had was that he wanted a few photos where he and Amelia would strike the same pose that his parents did during their wedding photoshoot many years ago! Hmm.. and it got us wondering whether his future kids might want to do the same thing too? 😀
This lovely couple has been married for about 7 months now and we are happy to have been part of their proposal and pre-wedding journey!
