We shot Danny and Angela’s wedding twice.
Before any weird thoughts start running through your mind, it’s all because they held their solemnisation and wedding banquet on two different days, nine months apart! They had their first celebration last year in June at the lovely venue, Flutes at National Museum (where you can find the blog post here). As mentioned in our previous blog post, any venue that lets in natural light always gets our vote, and we are happy to have had the opportunity to shoot at Flutes three times, and we are definitely hoping for more!
So back to Danny and Angela’s ‘second wedding’ which was earlier this year. We had a very pleasant surprise when we arrived at Angela’s house early in the morning. Sitting on top of one of their cabinets, was a nice little frame with one of our favourite photos from their solemnisation β the sweet hug between Angela and her Dad. It was so cute to see the photo printed out right from our own Instagram post and caption! π
This time round, the couple (or probably more like Angela) chose a basketball-theme for the gatecrash, because Angela used to be a basketball player. The guys were made to do some basketball drills and Angela’s bridesmaids (who were also basketball players) had a great time ‘dishing out punishments’ for all the failed drills! After the fun and games were over, came a really touching moment when Danny tried (unsuccessfully) to hold back his tears as he was reading his love pledge to Angela. It was a very sweet and yet funny moment as Danny had to compose his love pledge using a number of medical terms, because Angela is an anaesthetist!
For the dinner banquet held at Peony Jade at Keppel Club, things got crazier towards the end when liquor came into play. Scroll on down to see what we mean! π
