Lewis and Estelle are our dear friends who we have known for a long time, Lewis in particular all the way from our JC days (Yup, Alvin, Lewis, and I were all JC classmates :)). Estelle, being such a friendly and chirpy person, fitted into our group seamlessly and we were happy to welcome her into our group. Soon enough, one by one, we all got married, and when it came to Lewis and Estelle’s turn, we were thrilled to tag along their official wedding photographer back in the days when we first started out our wedding photography journey. Every shoot done at that time was really valuable experience to us and even till now, one of our most memorable images was Lewis tearing during the exchange of vows with Estelle smiling at him and with one hand on his shoulder.
It’s amazing how time flies, as we were all still studying in school back then, and then progressing to working life, before getting married, and now both our families have kids! We have all entered into a new phase of life now which is exciting to say the least!
Recently, we met a couple who are about to get married and they told us that the first 40 years of their life (individually) wasn’t the best, but now that they have met and fell in love, they believe that the next 40 years of their life would be the best. Afterall, how many 40 years could one possible have? Just 2, so make the best out of it! 😀 Such an awesome mindset, which also reminds us to always look on the bright side of things and enjoy life. You never know what the future brings, but you can always take the positives out of everything! 🙂
