The story of a dragon-boater and a teacher… Charlene first met Samuel as a dragon-boater at an event where she was part of the organising committee. Little did she know that one chance encounter would change her life forever. Being in the committee, there was some packing up to do after the event was over. Samuel, being the nice guy that he is, came over to offer his help. Charlene was struck by Samuel’s willingness to help with the packing, and thought what a nice guy he was! Friendship blossomed from there, and soon enough they were an item! Having their love story starting off at a dragon boat event, it was only fitting that elements of dragon boat were incorporated into their wedding at Marina Bay Sands. 🙂
As Samuel works in the army, for the first march-in, there were the usual sword bearers lining up the aisle. What was particularly interesting for the second march-in was, Samuel had his dragon boat friends to do the same as well, but they used their dragon boat paddles instead of swords! We certainly hadn’t seen or shot a wedding like that before! As Charlene told us thereafter, “my favourite wedding highlight is our paddle-bearers for sure; it could be a first for weddings!”

Review by Samuel & Charlene
Alvin and Michelle make a dynamic couple and it translates into their service. They have a great eye for detail and they captured the essence of emotions within each picture. We are very impressed with their skill and results. While we are done with our wedding photoshoot, we have plans to engage them for other shoots that we are planning for the future! Selecting them for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made for our day!
