We’ve told you about Gavin & Annie’s love story and pre-wedding shoot in the previous blog post. Their wedding was an equally fun episode to shoot from start to finish! 🙂
The couple chose the first of November, an auspicious number given the three ‘1’s in the date. It was a fittingly good omen for their wedding, and also for their story as a couple, which both believed to have been brought about by destiny and good fortune.
The morning gatecrashing games involved Gavin and his buddies doing yoga poses, followed by one crazy dance number, complete with feather boas, shades and masks. (You can imagine what a riot we had shooting this chapter!)
After Gavin and Annie finally came together (accompanied by their respective wedding parties), we headed over to the MacRitchie Reservoir Park for some photos of the couple and their huge bridal party. This was the largest bridal party we had ever shot — 21 friends in total! The dynamics lent a unique brand of fun and camaraderie, and we were able to capture the friends in their best, most natural element.
And finally, the most important part of the day was the solemnization and wedding dinner which was held at Chijmes, and gorgeously styled in white elements, florals, and centrepieces. Tears and laughters filled the place as Gavin and Annie gave their heartfelt vows to each other. The emcee also did a great job in lifting up the spirit of the atmosphere and the guests had a great time, especially during the tossing of bridal bouquet and yum seng time!

Review by Gavin & Annie
First I would like to say a BIG thank you to Alvin and Michelle for their great photo-taking skills and for giving us a really awesome wedding experience.
We choose Awesome Memories Photography because my wife saw their work, really liked it and we instinctively decided on them. True enough, after meeting them up, our minds were more assured because they are friendly and professional. Their easy-going demeanour makes our experience with them even more relax as we treated each others as friends and we had a lot of fun during the shoots.
After my wedding, a lot of friends commented that the pictures they’ve taken were very beautiful and that really put a testament on their work.
I must say that this husband and wife team is really dedicated and professional. They will not spare any effort just to capture the right picture, at the right moment. I am very pleased to write this review so that others looking for wedding photographers will also have an enjoyable time like us during their most important day of their lives.
I wish Alvin and Michelle all the best for their future endeavours.
