The sea embodies the love story of Joseph and Fiona as it was onboard a cruise that both of them first met. To say that Joseph loves the sea would probably be an understatement as he has spent about half his lifetime serving our country as part of the naval force. Hence, there could not be a more appropriate way to celebrate their wedding than to have their solemnization onboard the Blue Mountain Yacht, followed by a sail out to the seas. Having shot at One Degree 15 twice previously and also once at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club, albeit all on land, this would be the first time that we would actually be sailing out and shooting the entire wedding on sea, and we were thrilled to be part of the wedding of Joseph and Fiona!
It was a small wedding of close to 60 guests. As the Blue Mountain Yacht could only accommodate 30 persons, the couple chartered a second yacht – the Mikanna Leisure Yacht and the two yachts sailed out to the seas together. It was a sight to behold, soaking in the sunset and enjoying the sea breeze at the same time. The videographers Unique Colours Creative Media took this opportunity to fly their drone up into the skies and capture the aerial view of the two yachts!
We really enjoyed being part of the wedding of Joseph and Fiona as they are such a nice couple. With Joseph being posted to Germany for work for 2 years and Fiona accompanying him as well, we wish them the very best as they explore new opportunities and experiences in life! 🙂
Review by Joseph & Fiona
First saw the wedding photos taken by Michelle and Alvin on Facebook and I really love the way the photos were taken. Michelle and Alvin are very creative and artistic in their approach, and what I love most is that they capture a lot of natural facial expressions which were taken so timely to show forth the genuine happiness of everyone at the wedding.
Michelle and Alvin really have the interest of the couple at heart. I really appreciate that there was a meet-up session before the actual day of the wedding for them to get to know me and my husband better so as to build up the chemistry between us and this had really helped us to be more natural when posing for the photos.
As my wedding was held on 2 yachts, it was really great that Alvin was on the opposite yacht to capture a wider angle view of us on the entire yacht while Michelle did the close up shots on the yacht that we were on.
All the photos were very beautifully and professionally taken – all our relatives and friends loved the photos too! The montage was perfectly created in accordance to the music that I had chosen.
Michelle and Alvin are truly an awesome, genuine, friendly and warm couple. They have excellent and prompt service. I’m really thankful to Michelle who has provided me with many other important wedding tips to take note of when I was preparing for my big day! There was even a surprise wedding gift when I collected my photos!
I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to both Michelle and Alvin for making my wedding truly an awesome memory to keep for a lifetime!
