Ever thought about having a couple photoshoot when you travel overseas? That’s exactly what our European couple Anton and Elvira did while holidaying in Singapore recently! No more selfie needed!
Anton came across our site when he was searching online for a photographer based in Singapore. He liked what he saw on our portfolio and promptly dropped us an enquiry. Thereafter, we got to know that he and Elvira would be in Singapore for 4 days, before flying off to Bali for another 4 days, and then back in Singapore again for the last 4 days of their Asia trip before flying back to Europe. Hence, we took the opportunity to meet up with them during the first leg of their trip to get to know them a little better. Guess where we took them to? 🙂 It had to be Lau Pa Sat! – A vibrant hawker centre in the city at night to introduce to them our local hawker culture / food. They loved the grilled prawn and seafood so much that they even went back to Lau Pa Sat two more times! It’s little things like these where we bring joy to our couples that really pleases us. 🙂
For the photoshoot itself, we first sought to understand what Anton and Elvira liked and what they were looking for in the photos. Anton told us that he wanted some photos of the Singapore cityscape, while at the same time, a bit of nature and greenery as well. Since they were staying at the Marina Bay Sands hotel, we suggested having the whole photoshoot around that area so that we didn’t have to spend time travelling from one place to another. The Marina Bay area suited the couple’s needs really well as on one side, where the floating pavilions outside MBS mall were, there was the beautiful cityscape. And on the other side behind the MBS hotel, there was the magnificent Gardens by the Bay.
Anton and Elvira were simply a joy to shoot. They were totally natural with each other and were smiling and laughing all the time. We could see that they are madly in love with each other, and I think the photos speak for themselves. I can’t stop looking at their beautiful photos, and I hope you will enjoy them too! 🙂
